The Hospital has 6 Locations and treats poor people for free/ low costs. Volunteers interested in helping the economcially downtrodden and have future goals in pursuing medicine can spend time in this hospital , in various departments and get exposure to diffrent kinds of treatments. Volunteers will have 1) Gained an Insight into the healthcare delivery model in India. 2) Have the experience of living in a developing country. 3)Have the satisfaction of helping economically downtrodden people. The volunteer programme would consist of 1) Assisting in various departments of the hospital. such as Casualty, Anesthesia, ICU, OB Gyn, Orthopedics,Ophthalmology etc. In these rotations, the volunteers can see patients getting treated and also assist with the surgeons in the OT. 2) Can assist in Community Outreach camps of the Hospital. At the end of the programme the volunteers would be provided with a certificate, which prove their contribution to community healthcare in India.
